This is my preferred equipment for keeping Tallie washed and brushed without mats.
I’ve tried brushing Tallie when she is lying down, with a standard brush, but I am using the following equipment to keep her mat-free and brushed and trimmed all over.

This was a useful reminder from our first groomer:


A brush is simply the best to avoid pulling. I then use the comb to check it has worked with no mats.

I need this stand to keep Tallie standing up, and she is very accepting as it is the same for when she goes to the groomers.

And the following for getting rid if mats although I am hoping in future that weekly brushing will avoid them altogether.
