WWT03 Cold Pike

Our third Wainwright,

We camped just below the 3 shires stone, and snowed the night before. I wish that I had left the next morning when my alarm went off at 6 o’clock, since I saw photos from someone who had camped at the top, and the photos were brilliant. However, I wouldn’t of bumped into Julie and Nick on the way up so no regrets

I sent the drone up to the drone to look at the greenburn horseshoe – you can see great carts and swirl how above the mist.
This image shows most of the walk. Cold pike is the peak to the left of the saddle. Tilly and I walked up the main footpath towards Pike Of Bliscoe (the peak to the right) but cut off to the left before we reached red tarn. The summit picture is at the top of the post, and we descended to the north with great views, appearing of the Langdales as we retrace our tracks past red tarn.
