WWT04 Pike o’Blisco

So alarm was set for 5.30am so as to get to the top of Pike o’Blisco for 7.15am sunrise.

It was dark as we set off.
Although there was a full moon.
You could see where the Sun was going to appear from.
We turned right at the T junction beyond Red Tarn.
Nearly at the top…
What a view.
It was very windy.
You can see the band… just not the Crinkles or Bow Fell.
Love this selfie with the Langdale Pikes in the background.
The light was amazing and there were showers across Greater Langdale.
PoB is in the centre, in the distance. An hour’s walk to the top.
